The Blasphemy Challenge on ABC!

A friend of mine (he happens to be a student pastor) told me about The Blasphemy Challenge. It doesn't surprise me. What surprises me is the way ABC's Nightline allowed promotion to the people that over see this project by allowing them to give away DVD's of their production "The God Who Wasn't There". After watching this I was disturbed yes, but more sad for the people who are so bitter towards God who loves them and desires relationship.

wow. veeeerrry interesting. it breaks my heart too. to think that Christ died for even those that would willfully and knowingly deny him is unimaginable. as I watched, I had to ask myself if they truly are breaking the "unpardonable sin" if they honestly don't know what they are doing. Could they - in the ingonrance of thier stand to deny the holy spirit - be making thier statements without understanding the ramifications of the statement...and if so, are they really doing what they think they are doing - willfully denying Christ and the Holy Spirit. I know I probably opened us a can of thoelogical worms...but it's just a question that I honestly don't have a dogmatic answer for!

WOW......
I thought when I saw the promo to click on that that was bad enough I had no idea they took it to such an irruputable level. And in answer to my dear brother Phil, No they obviously don't know what the ramifications are or they wouldn't be saying it at all. As I understand it blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a life long endeavor not a one time statement.

Because DEEP DOWN INSIDE I know it's true? Well that's bullshit and you should know it! It's pretty easy to not believe in the bizarre and ridiculous claims of the bible, but believers can EVER admit that to them selves so they come up with bullshit like this!
