someone with strong islamic ties would be anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, pro-death penalty, anti-drug, pro-war, pro-prayer in school, strong on criminal justice, anti-immigration, pro-drilling for oil, pro-family, pro-faith, and hold Jesus in high esteem. He was only 8 or 9 at the time so it's really a non-factor. However, I predict his Islamic background will be spun in the main stream press as an "asset" which "uniquely qualifies him" to handle Middle Eastern relations.

i think article validates something i have thought all along, barak is a home spun politician. he will say anything, do anything to build a base. i think if he knew it would be for his advantage he would pray to the east and take communion, if he knew it would make his chances better. this dude is no different than hilary, or rudy or mit or who ever. they are all total robots that will do what ever their advisors say do and will embrace what ever their advisors say embrace. if we can find one real dude or chick to run for prez it would be refreshing.
