Get away

Penny and I have taken a few days to get away from everything and just spend some much needed time together. We're very fortunate live only 2 and half hours away from the vacation capital of the world. We ate good pizza tonight and going to Epcot tomorrow. Where do you go to get away? Any suggestions for our next mini retreat?

Yes, you guys should come to Dallas. Not that we have that much exciting to do but it'd be fun.

Or you could just drive up to Asheville, NC and go see the Biltmore. Evidently it's America's largest home. (Just saw it in a magazine!!)

Glad you are getting away. Relax and enjoy your time together.

Well, we love it here in Orlando! Lots of fun things to do! The campfire movies at Fort Wilderness are lots of fun (& free)... singing, movie, roasting marshmallows (okay, that part isn't free). We actually just went to Epcot today!! Our favorites were "Soarin'" (you need to fastpass this one) and Turtle Talk with Crush was totally hysterical!! I don't think you have to have kids to appreciate that one either! We would have loved to have gone on Test Track, but ran out of time. Food in Mexico was great! The fireworks extravaganza was amazing!! All the benches by the World Showcase lagoon were taken by 8 pm with people waiting for the light/fireworks show at 9pm! It was fantastic! Thom and I would love to go without the kids sometime! Enjoy your time together as a couple NOW! :)
You'll have to blog about your favorites in Epcot!! Have a blast!
